Terms of Sales

Article 1 / Duration of stay

The signatory client of this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises. 

Article 2 / Reservation formalities 

After receiving your reservation, we will send you by e-mail – or, if you do not have an e-mail address, by post – a written confirmation and invite you to pay within a maximum period of two weeks (but more quickly if it is (this is a reservation made with less notice) a deposit of one night per room. Once this deposit has been received, the reservation becomes firm. By paying the deposit, you confirm your full agreement with the general conditions specified below. Please note that without the payment of the deposit within the time limit, the reservation is not confirmed and that, consequently, we reserve the right to recover the rooms. 

Article 3 / Cancellation of the stay by the customer 

Any modification is only possible after the agreement of “Domaine de la Castagnère” and may incur additional costs.
We inform you that in case of cancellation of the reservation before the beginning of the stay, it will be due, as a penalty clause by the customer, an indemnity fixed as follows:
– if the cancellation occurs more than 15 days before the date of arrival, the deposit will be refunded in full;
– if the cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the date of arrival, the full payment will be retained by “Le Domaine de la Castagnère”, unless we manage to re-let the room(s).
In the event of early departure during the stay: full payment of the reserved service. 

Article 4 / Cancellation insurance 

We draw your attention to the fact that no cancellation insurance is included in our prices. It is therefore strongly recommended to subscribe one. 

Article 5 / Cancellation of the stay by the owner 

If, before the start of the stay, the owner has to cancel the reservation, he must immediately inform his client by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The customer will then be immediately and fully reimbursed for the sums he has already paid. He will also receive compensation equal to the penalty he would have incurred if the cancellation had taken place on that date. 

Article 6 / Time of arrival 

The customer must arrive on the day specified when booking, no earlier than 5:00 p.m. (time of room availability and key collection) and no later than 7:30 p.m. The customer must notify you by telephone if , by force of circumstances, he is forced to arrive after this time slot (on 06 44 31 05 97). If possible, please do not arrive after 9:30 p.m. 

Article 7 / Time of departure 

The check-out time for the rooms is 10 a.m. at the latest. 

Article 8 / Payment of the accommodation balance 

The balance of the stay is to be paid the day before departure, at the customer's initiative. 

Article 9 / Insurance 

The customer is liable for all damages caused by him. It is required to be insured by a holiday-type insurance contract for these various risks. 

Article 10 / Change of rooms 

Without the customer being able to claim any compensation, the owner reserves the right to change the room initially reserved by the customer for a room of the same capacity or a higher capacity. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged. 


Item 11 / Pets 

Pets are not allowed. By way of derogation, small pets are accepted, but only in the Agathe room. In the event of non-compliance with this clause by the client, the owner may refuse the animals.
This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the customer's departure, no refund can be considered._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_

Article 12 / Art of living and use of premises 

In order to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of the guests of the Domaine de la Castagnère, respect for a certain "art of living" is required of all. In particular, it is requested not to smoke inside the rooms and common areas. The customer undertakes more generally to respect the instructions of good manners which will be indicated to him, those which are binding on all when one lives in community and the present general conditions of sale._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_

The customer undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to systematically declare – and to assume financially – any damage for which he is responsible. It is specified that the kitchens available to the Domaine de la Castagnère are not left at the free disposal of guests. 

Guests' attention is drawn to the fact that minors living on the property are placed under the sole and entire responsibility of their parents or persons having authority over them. 

The Domaine de la Castagnère will not accept any responsibility in the event of loss, theft and/or damage or injury caused to property and/or persons on the property, whatever the cause._cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

The animals on the Domaine de la Castagnère are not toys. They are in their house. It is forbidden to run after them. If they want, they will come to you. Respect them. 

Article 13 / Modification of the conditions of sale 

These conditions of sale are subject to change at any time and without notice. Acceptance and compliance with these conditions of sale are deemed acquired as soon as the deposit is paid. 

Article 14 / Data Protection Act 

In accordance with law n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms, you have the right to access and rectify data concerning you. We make a commitment not to transmit in any case the information which you communicated to us with other companies or organizations.
